Thanks for reading ResearchBuzz. E-mail addresses on this page are obscured to foil spam harvesters. They'll be presented like this: address-at-example.com. Please substitute a regular @ sign for the -at- part. (making address-at-example.com actually address@example.com).

Why do you want to contact ResearchBuzz?

1. I want to submit a site.
2. I want to do a link exchange.
3. I want to subscribe to the newsletter.
4. I'm having problems with the free newsletter.
5. I'm having problems with ResearchBuzz Extra.
6. I want to change my newsletter subscription address.
7. I'm having problems unsubscribing from the newsletter.
8. I want permission to republish an item in the newsletter.
9. I'm with the press.
10. I have some other question/comment that isn't answered here.

1. I want to submit a site.

Marvelous! Please review the submission rules at http://www.researchbuzz.com/promo.shtml before you submit your site. If it qualifies for coverage please send your submission to sitesubmit-at-researchbuzz.com . It'll help if you put a useful title on the submission; please don't title your e-mail "Site to submit". Okay? And please do not send your submission or press release to press-at-researchbuzz.com. Thanks.

2. I want to do a link exchange.

ResearchBuzz does not participate in link exchanges. ResearchBuzz generally does not cover e-commerce sites. *IF* your site qualifies for coverage in ResearchBuzz (check at http://www.researchbuzz.com/promo.shtml ) then please submit it to sitesubmit-at-researchbuzz.com . We'll link to it without requiring a reciprocal link.

3. I want to subscribe to the free newsletter.

Great! Please use the subscription box on the left side of the page. We can't add you manually, since all users must confirm their subscriptions (ResearchBuzz has been a confirmed-subscription newsletter since 1998.)

4. I'm having problems with the free newsletter.

The number one complaint I hear in relation to the newsletter is "I didn't get the newsletter. I think I'm subscribed. Why aren't I getting the newsletter?" Before e-mailing me please try these three steps:

a) Try to subscribe using the subscription box on the left. If you're already subscribed, you'll get an error message.
b) If you are already subscribed, please check on your end to make sure the newsletter is not getting filtered or otherwise blocked. The free newsletter comes from newsletter-at-researchbuzz.com -- perhaps you could whitelist that address.
c) If you use a free Web mail service, please check the "bulk mail" folder and see if your newsletter is ending up there. Yahoo Mail users, I have tried jumping through Yahoo's hoops to stop ending up in the bulk folder; I don't have any recommendations for you.

If you check those three things and you're still not getting the newsletter, please send a note to newsletter-at-researchbuzz.com .

5. I'm having problems with ResearchBuzz Extra.

Please send a note describing your problems to buzzextra-at-researchbuzz.com .

6. I want to change my newsletter subscription address.

ResearchBuzz Extra readers who want to change their address should e-mail buzzextra-at-researchbuzz.com with their existing address and the address they want to change to.

IF YOU ARE NOT SUBSCRIBED TO RESEARCHBUZZ EXTRA you will have to unsub and sub yourself. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Please use that, then use the subscribe box on the left of this box to sign up with this new address.

7. I'm having problems unsubscribing from the newsletter.

Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. IF YOU TRY THAT AND THAT DOES NOT WORK, please forward the unsubscribe link to newsletter-at-researchbuzz.com . In 100% of the cases when this has happened, I have been able to click on the link and unsubscribe, so I suspect there's a strange mail reader configuration problem out there somewhere.

8. I want permission to republish an item in the newsletter.

Please visit the bottom of http://www.researchbuzz.com/about.shtml for information on reprinting items via e-mail. For reproducing items on a Web site, in a paper newsletter, or for classroom use, please contact permission-at-researchbuzz.com .

9. I'm a member of the press.

Please send an e-mail to press-at-researchbuzz.com with your information, your deadline (put the deadline in the mail's title if you need a response very quickly!) and your phone number. Don't forget to let me know what time zone you're in! If you want a review copy of a book I've authored or co'd, let me know and I'll hook you up with the appropriate PR person.

10. I have some other question/comment that isn't answered here.

Okay. Please send it to misc-at-researchbuzz.com .

Thanks for your interest in ResearchBuzz, and thanks for reading!
